The original concept was to attempt to modernise the structure of beloved classic soapy chypres by using purely natural whole-plant ingredients. I wanted to discover what lay beyond; to produce a softly billowing floral chypre, without any of the synthetic soapiness and laundry musk components of those spectacular scent ‘femme fatales’ of the past.
